Tempo with Steven. Ran about 4 miles over to the DC and then a little more with the club to warm up hitting 5.16 total warm up miles.

Did the mayors loop tempo and told myself I'd go at least 6 miles of tempo...maybe 7. Mission accomplished! Went 7.1 miles @5:40 avg. A little faster than the other morning with the Circle and I felt much much more in control. Went out way fast with a 5:19 first mile but then settled down and ran pretty even the rest of the way.

3.14 mile cool down back home after.

Weight this week, M- 146.5, Tues- 144, W-143.5, Th- 143.0

My weigt is down... my miles have been solid all summer. So now I just have to find a way to run tempo/race pace. Marathon pace is the goal... and I don't think I'll pull off any good half's in the coming weeks. It seems half marathon pace is killing me. But if I can settle down maybe I can run MP.

Crazy, crazy, crazy dreams last night. Lots on my mind. Having a hard time processing what's happening.
