4 easy miles this morning to try and work off a little of the weekend. Big workout tonight with the guys.

(Blue Cumulus-461.05)

16 miles tonight with the guys. Big workout with a 4 mile warm-up, 8 miles at Tinman tempo, 4 miles cool-down. All in a really good rain storm. Once the rain started we started herding frogs. They were all over the trail- Aaron even stepped on one and smashed guts everywhere.

Anyways the run was good. I left my garmin in the car because of the rain but Logan and Dave had theirs so my splits were right between theirs. The diaphragm started to tighten up on the last two miles... but everything else did too.

So what's the story of your blog name?

From Superfly on Mon, Aug 04, 2008 at 23:44:40

Josse- Amen to that. Hopefully I'll be able to teach my kids some respect and they won't be pests.

Jon- There is no real story. Other than I'm just sick of all the little kids now days that are such little brats. I'm more bugged at the parents who think their kids are cute and just let them do whatever they want.

Being consistant is the key. My son was a little stinker and spent alot of time in time out in his younger days, but it payed off because (most of the time) he is really good. Parenting is tough and most of the time it is better not to pre-judge before you have your own. But I hear you parents know a days don't really disapline their kids and let them get away with murder.

Funny story-my son was a hitter. I never let him get away with it and always went to nursery with him to make sure he didn't beat up all the other kids. This other mom, who was an older 1st time mom of a little girl always came as well (to protect her daughter form my little monster). I would notice she would follow my son around just to catch him in the act. This one time she grabbed him and held him as tight as she could and would not let him go. She said she needed to teach him a lesson ( you can imagane how upset I was). Well a few months later she came to my house to get my sons hand prints for a card she was making. And her daughter pushed my son off his chair. I just looked at her and smiled and said kid will be kids. Any way the moral this story is you could have alittle "pusher" too.
