9.1 mile run this morning up around GS and back the long way around Middleton. I felt very fresh and good for Monday. I just have to keep squeaking out some decent milage until wrestling is over Feb 16, and hopefully then I can start really training again.

(Stratus 87.1)

11 mile run up into GS then up onto the powerline trail and over to the water tank- then down around industrial park and home. Not a bad run. I had some food about a half hour before I left on the run and it kept coming up into my throat but other than that the run was fine. I'm not really ready for full on speed work but I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to crave a little tempo stuff or small surges during the runs. Most likely I'll just keep working on my base miles until the middle of February and then try to find a little speed somewhere. So for now I'll have to be happy with the short tempo/surges.

Clyde, I guess Ted wasn't able to catch up with you. Will you tell Steve if you see him I will get those shoes in the mail as soon as I get home and tell him I'm sorry it has taken so long!!!

I did send him a comment the other day, but I'm not sure if he checks his blog very often! Thanks!

Michelle I'll tell Steve. He doesn't check his blog very much. I saw my phone on Friday and there was a missed call from a number that I didn't recognize but there was no message. At the time I didn't even think about it... but looking back I'm sure it was Ted calling. Don't worry too much about it. Honestly it's not a big deal. Hope everything on your end is going better.
