Did a marathon training run this morinng. The full 26.2 miles in 2:44:49 or a 6:16 avg. Met the Circle at the DC early and did the marathon training loop with a bunch of add-ons to get the mileage. My goal/plan was to be right around a 2:45. So we did pretty good considering I didn't even look at the clock until about mile 14.

Felt really junky for the first 6 miles or so. Heart rate was crazy high. I was dizzy and the hip was really sore. Maybe after that I just got numb to the pain. But from 7-22 I felt pretty smooth and just clicked off the miles. Hit the last 6 miles or so at 5:50 pace. Took GU's at miles 8.8 and 17.

Good long endurance workout to have in the books. Didn't run hard enough to get sore. So I should recover fine with rest. Glad to have it done- glad the guys agreed to do it with me.

145.5 lbs after the run.
