Most likely taking the day totally off. I've got a serious ankle injury and it's going to be some time before I'm running big mileage and fast races again. Bryce is officially "out". I'm just really hoping TOU half is still a possibility.

Sorry about the ankle. Hoping for a speedy recovery!

Lots of time until TOU 1/2. You can be back running full steam ahead by then.

Sorry to hear about the injury. I get injured somewhat often (I like to say I have glass legs), and the one thing I've learned is that it's better to miss a few days now than a few weeks down the road by trying to push through the injury. I think it's wise to take a day or two off and then re-assess. Hang in there.

Thanks guys! I think injuries are way more mental than physical. I'm going crazy not heading out for a run everyday. But it's a good week to be off since yesterdays high was 112 F.
