6 miles this morning

6 miles this evening with the club

An easy day. Chest and sides hurt on morning run for first 2 miles then pain went away. Kind of sore all day but didn’t bother me on evening run. Tried to get into a Dr. but there was no appointments available. So we did some research on WEB MD and decided I may have bronchitis. Symptoms started showing up last Thursday. It would explain why my nose ran so bad during the Del Sol. It was a little worse than just allergies. I also had this dry cough, and also the pain under rib cage. I can kind of tell its working its way out of my body. Hopefully through this weekend I can show signs of improvement and we’ll look forward to Boston. If no improvement is made by Monday running the race may not be an option. I can do my day to day training runs at a slow pace but as I increase speed below 6:30 pace it almost brings me to my knees. I don’t know how I finished the last leg of the Del Sol- the other legs hurt but this one left a very vivid impression. About 2.5 miles into the run I got that sharp pain in the side-I just fought it off as a bad side ache…now I know it was a little more than that.

Maybe in the end after training with this for about a week it will make me stronger. Because my lungs have felt like they have had a rubber band around them. Anyways enough rambling about it- I’m just happy to see some signs of the healthy Clyde.

I had no idea you were hurting that bad during del Sol. Take care of yourself man, wouldn't want you to have to drop Boston.

I would agree with David, might be good to take a day or two off, don't want to risk missing the Boston race this close
