Did the industrial park loop a little late in the morning. By the time I was doing the last few miles it was hot. My diet has been ugly this week. Hamburgers on Monday and pizza on Tuesday. Its time go come back to earth and start eating better. My miles will still be pretty low this week. I just don't want to drop any fitness in this so called down time. I think the worst part about racing is that it really cuts into your training- with the taper and then an even longer recovery. Our trek is somewhat local. In the Kaibab National Forest. So I think I'll be able to get a run in early Thursday morning before we leave and then no run on Friday. On Saturday when we get back I will do a longer run that evening if I feel good. |
