I wasn't going to even run today but after getting up and walking around the house I started to feel pretty good. So I just went out nice and easy. Going up some of the hill portions out in the reserve was a little challenging but nothing too bad.

I'm still going to take this week very easy. My wife and I are doing a hand-cart trek with our church on Thurs, Fri, Sat and I may not even get to run on those days. But we will be walking and eating dried fruit and jerky in small proportions.

It never hurts to take a few days off after a good hard marathon, it might actually do you more good than forcing a few miles.

Glad that you are feeling good, have a nice recovery week. Where is your trek going to be?

good luck with the trek, where are you going? We are going in the end of July to Martins Cove. I'm sure I'll be excited by then! I hear there are lots of snakes!

Nice run. It's good to take it easy. I plan to do the same tomorrow. I really think a good recovery gives you fresh legs and makes your training successful.
