30 min bike ride from the parking lot in Green Valley up to were I started the run. Then after the run I rode back to the Jeep but it only took 16 min's to get back because of the downhill. No jumps today. Last time I rode this trail I blew a tire by slamming into the rock doing jumps. Today I felt pretty uncoordinated and thought jumping the bike would led to some kind of drama. 4.7 mile run around the Green Valley side of the hill and through the "gap" then around and up Bear Paw and poppy then looped back to the bike. I didn't know where I was going or how far it would be when I started this run. Because some of the run was on pretty rough terrain it still took 42 min's to do the loop. I could never do that same loop again because I was winding around so much I'd never remember which trail I took. It was nice today. 80 degrees here at the house at around 2:30 p.m. I took my shirt off for the bike ride and run and now my upper body is bright pink... I got fried. The first sun burn of the season and it's March 3. Actually last week I got pretty fried on my arms during some bike rides but this was shirtless. |
