Did the middle B-hills loop. 2 mile warm up, 2.5 miles at 5k pace, 2.1 mile cool down. I wanted to see if the legs were still there and give them a little wake up call for Saturday. So I took the warm up nice and slow then really powered through the tempo. I thought durning the warm up that if I was racing a 10k today I think I'd do pretty good. Felt pretty strong through the tempo staying under 5:30 pace. I would have liked to be a little smoother but when running at 5k or faster I don't run smooth... it's more robotic. Then jogged it in and did a solid ab workout. T minus two day until the race- here is where my nerves start to get frazzled. |
