Total Distance
5.00

50 min's on the spinner. Wanted to stay on longer and do more impact. But now's not the time. Just need to enjoy a true recovery. After I put on a pair of other shorts to do some yard and house work in and... (most people find money in their pockets) I found a nice chunk of jerky from a few days ago. Made for a nice post workout snack.

1.5 mile swim in Quail in 46:46. Distance isn't exact but within a tenth. Swam off the boat ramp out to the buey line then south all the way down the lake. Went down in 25 min's. Then came back in just over 22. Felt so so. Did a lot better spotting but still all over the place with breathing. Shoulders were pretty glad it was over once I put my feet on the ground.

Hey for an early spring marathon. Riley and I were thinking the Woodlands Texas Marathon. March 2nd, race says they acommidate for elites. Tell me what you think?

Ben, I was thinking Phoenix it is on the same day (but haven't talked to anyone about it). But I'll look at Woodlands too.

I'll look at Texas. But I still like the sound of PHX. Closer for travel and fairly cheap on Southwest. But if we all could get on the same page for a race it would be fun to bring a crowd. That is if I haven't retired by then.

Retire that is garbage! You just ran 2:35 on a broken ankle. I was thinking woodlands only if they accommodate flight and hotel. If not then definitely Phoenix for sure. That would be fun with a group to run for sure

Yeah I'll go to TX for a free flight and room. What are the elite qualifications. In the last 12 months my fastest marathon is a 2:30 (ojia) and a flat 2:32 in (modesto).

So Clyde the director wrote me back and they will accomidate for Room and free entry into the race. So flight we will have to cover. What you think?
