Woke up feeling a little groggy from the night but made myself get out. It's starting to feel more like November... 45 degrees this morning, still not bad at all. The run was o.k. I need to get through this week with some of the work projects we have going on.

I'll be runing the half marathon this weekend but for some reason I'm not too thrilled about it. I have been getting in some pretty good miles but my lack of tempo paced runs is going to kill me.

Where are you running the Half Marathon at? Once you get to the starting line your adrenaline and determination will kick in and you'll do well.

Kory,

The half is a new race they started this year here in STG. I think it's called the Snow Canyon Half. Anyways I hope that once I'm up there I'l be more ready to race.

Good luck this weekend. I hope you do well.

Thanks Logan.

I'd almost rather come up and help you with your leaves. That sounds like about as much fun as a race right now.

Good job getting back to your doubles. Stay warm up there.

Alright Clyde, I'm going to pump you up for this race. You've got so much talent. Just look how close you got to running the Olympic trials. Your well rested from STG marathon. Just look at your previous times and that should give you confidence to know your going to rip through the course.

Visualize what goal you want to achieve in this race and keep that all the way up to race day. Just imagine you want to PR your half marathon time.

Most of all put your faith in God because he gave you the running talent to achieve some awesome times. You don't need luck, you have the skill to move those legs fast.

Thanks Kory.

Now I'm feeling it!

Go get 'em...just race for fun with no real expectations...could be liberating in a sense.
