7 miles this morning on the treadmill again. Prison Break kept my mind off the run. Felt a little crabby this morning. I need to shake this sickness as soon as possible.

7 miles this afternoon on the treadmill. More Prison Break. I think I might be starting a pattern for the rest of the week.

Nice Running on the TM. Do you alternate the speed and elevation on the TM when your running? I bet you notice you sweat more on the TM than outside.

From Superfly on Wed, Dec 12, 2007 at 11:07:18

Kory,

Your right- you sweat a lot more inside on the TM. I do different workouts with speed and elevations sometimes. This week I'm just getting in some easy miles. I've had a few sore places and I just want to cut back a little and when I do run it's easy so I can get healed up.

From wheakory on Wed, Dec 12, 2007 at 12:43:19

Ya, the sweat is bad. I try to mix up the elevation a bit on my lunch treadmill runs and like you try to watch something that occupies the time. I would go crazy if I didn't have something to watch.

Your training is looking great. What's the temperature there in the mornings.

From Superfly on Wed, Dec 12, 2007 at 14:46:33

My training right now is so- so. I'm not trying to do anything but just maintain. The temp this morning was 32. Not too bad for you guys but for me that is too cold to go out in- unless I have to.

From Jon on Wed, Dec 12, 2007 at 15:08:04

If we go out in 95 degree weather, then you have to go out in 32 degree weather. It was 4 degrees in Logan this morning.

From Superfly on Wed, Dec 12, 2007 at 16:16:16

Jon- Instead of getting all bundled up for a cold run in the morning. I prefer to stay in and run on the treadmill in only my shoes and some tighty whitey under ware. Plus it's hard to say no to Prison Break.

From wheakory on Wed, Dec 12, 2007 at 16:26:16

Clyde, no problem with staying in and running on the TM. Even though I run outside in the extreme cold I definitely don't prefer to and have to convince myself to do it each morning. Now, you have it tough where most of the time you have to run in the extreme heat. I don't think I could handle that. Good luck on this weeks training.

From Jon on Thu, Dec 13, 2007 at 11:35:24

Clyde, you running on your treadmill in tighty whiteys is not something I wanted to hear about. Now I have this mental picture that I am trying to purge from my mind.

From Sasha Pachev on Thu, Dec 13, 2007 at 12:12:28

32 degrees is warm enough for shorts! Still too cold for the chest, but a short sleeved over long sleeved, or windbreaker jacket over short sleeved will do the job. Not much more time to get dressed than when it is 60 degrees, really.

From Superfly on Thu, Dec 13, 2007 at 13:25:33

Yeah but I'm sick with a small cold and I want to get better and stay better.
