Slept in and that cost me the time to get in the miles on the bike. So I used the time left and bust it out to the airport and back. 22.3 mph avg. Pretty aggressive ride even though it was shorter.

8.3 mile run about 20 min's after the ride. Legs felt heavy and slow. Hip was semi achy but good enough to run. It was hot.

You've been tearin' it up all week on that Kestrel! Nice workouts man.

Thanks man. I've actually been on a road bike for a couple weeks. A local bike shop offered to let me borrow one for the summer to prepare and ride in the LOTOJA race in September. It's like 209 miles or something. So I'm riding this BMC Race Machine. Pretty nice bike but I really prefer the feel of the tri bike... a lot more comfy and faster:)

That race looks like a blast! That's a lot of hours on a bike. Good luck on the race. I'll be looking forward to reading about how you do.

Those BMC's look like mean bikes. That's pretty awesome you're able to test drive one for the summer.
