No real running. I did test ride my new bike down in Yorda Linda, Ca for 1.1 miles. Left the house at 3:30 a.m and drove to San Luis Obispo with a buddy to pick up his new Escalade then we both drove down to LA area to pick up my new bike. And the headed back to STG. We didn't clock it on his car but google maps says it's a journey of 1,125 miles. We got home at 11:58 p.m. This was the biggest car travel day of my life.

Nice bike/run miles this week! Killing it.

New bike day! What'd you go with? I'm starting to kick around a Cannondale Slice for next year. It looks mean and the name is sweet.

Crap, that's a long drive..

Christie- thanks. Maybe I should have trained like this before the half IM in May... Oh well I want a full distance event. Just got to find one that will fit the calendar.

Matt- The slice is cool! I bought a Specialized Venge Pro di2. It fits well with my upcoming 206 mile race the first of September. If it works out I also got some carbon aero bars and might try it in Tri's. If not I'll just keep using my ol' Kestrel Airfoil pro as it worked pretty good in the half IM.
