Did the 9 mile fields loop. I had a limited amount of time this morning so the run had to be a little shorter and kind of local so I could be home fast if needed. I warmed up slow for the first 4 miles or so then settled into a more brisk 6:50 pace for a couple and then hit a couple more miles at 5:40 ish pace to help open up the airways and get the blood flowing. I felt good as the pace dropped and was really in control of my form. However I may have looked bad from a spectators point of view. I had spit and it didn't make it all the way out of my mouth so for a mile or so I kind of looked like I was foaming at the mouth. During this part I passed this poor guy who was doing around 8 min pace and he must have thought I was some kind of a freak.... Good times. The weather was nice with temps right around 64 when I got home so just about perfect actually.
