Nice morning run on the course with some of the club guys and Paul... who can be a club guy too.  We met at 4:40 which means I needed to be up at 4:00 to be ready and over there on time. Others didn't show on time so we got to the top a little behind schedule and had to jump right into faster miles to help Logan get back on time.

We got a really good workout in and I was excited to feel good and see how well Paul ran. I hit the 16 miles down the course in 1:40:30 at an avg of 6:17 min miles. Nothing too mind blowing but a good solid workout. I feel like I'm only a couple months away from being able to really start training again... if things continue to progress. Logan came in shortly after and Paul wasn't too far behind him. After Logan left we did a little cool down up around the golf course to help prevent soreness.

A nice morning overall and the thought of fall makes me happy!

Nice job and pace. Hope Logan wasn't too late. I ran the first 7 with Mike which was real easy, then picked it up a little the last 9. Maybe next time I run the course I'll try to push it a little harder or at least try to run the entire distance at the same pace.

Clyde, your comment hilarious! I do sneak cake, as well as runs. We really kept it easy, easy today. I still think STG is a pipe dream, but never say never. By the way, nice to see you for a brief second you guys took off pretty fast.

Clyde, thanks for letting me draft off you guys for an hour or so. That was the fastest 'long" run of my life. I hope I am not just a totally energy-drainer for you man.
