Did the Utah hill run down to Mike's house. Thanks to him and his wife for driving us out and watering us at the finish. We started out and I was just going to run nice and easy around the same pace I've been running. But Bill and Ken took off and then Steve started to work up to them and I was with him. So we started to hit 6 min pace and then 5:30 and next thing I knew for a short time we were at 4:55 on the downhill as we passed Bill and Ken. Not the smartest thing to do since I haven't ran anything fast since last fall. I was thinking at around mile 7 that there was no way I would be able to keep rolling... but we got in a nice little groove and still hit 6 min pace until we pulled up into the cool down. It felt really good to run faster again. The hammy was tight and might be really tight tomorrow but it never had any sharp painful signs. So we'll see how it goes.  Glad that I got out and glad I got some turnover for once. If I don't feel too bad in the days to come maybe I'll start trying a faster workout every 10 days or so and see where it takes me.

Finished the run at an avg of 6:40 min mile pace.

Clyde, great run today. It was fun to watch you run through the gears again! Just like riding a bike, you never forget.

Clyde you won't lose much speed from last year, because you haven't totally stopped running.

Sounds like a good run, you watching golf today?

Nice pace. I wish I had your turn over. Keep it up. Are you planning on running the Bryce Canyon Half?

Thanks guys yeah Marci you'll have to come out so Bull will behave himself again. When it's just the guys he tends to get a little out of line.

Yeah Dustin I watched golf most the day, and tomorrow.

Cheston- No big races planned for most the rest of the year. I'm still nursing a sore hammy back from the dead. Even if it starts to feel better I'll need a good 6 months of hard training before I think I'm ready to really race.
